Who knew when we launched our new website in January of 2016 that the life preserver and hashtag #brandresuscitation would be so apropos?
We are here.
When we didn’t know what else to do (there was a lot of waiting), we put our design skills to work. We created the #Can’tKeepThisGoodTownDown t-shirts, stickers, and magnets, and have so far raised and contributed more than $3000 to the Ellicott City Partnership, which is helping to bring Old Ellicott City back to life. It was one way we could help and could direct others as a way to help.
We are grateful to all those who reached out, and offered space, loaner computers, and moral support. And also so grateful for friends that initiated a GoFundMe page for insight180. The initial funds helped us with those initial cleanup costs, computer checkups, new components, and keeping up with our bills and expenses, and keeping our “virtual” doors open. Others we know in Ellicott City were not so lucky.
Many people have asked if they can help, and the answer is yes. Our next step will be to furnish new office space, which I’m happy to report will be in Ellicott City — albeit on higher ground — that we hope to move into in January. We’re grateful for the continued support.
With gratitude,
Wendy
