When creating emailers and considering user experience and user behavior, it’s important to keep design in mind. If users can consume your content easily they can better understand your calls to action, which can result in more conversions!
- Our brains process images 60,000 times faster than text. Not only are images easier for us to comprehend, in Hubspot’s recent survey, when asked whether they prefer primarily images or primarily text, nearly 2/3 of respondents said they preferred mostly image-based emails vs. mostly text-based emails. If you want to create emailers that convert, think more images, less text!
- Adding video to your email campaigns can increase click rates by 300%. The fact that more people would like to view a video to learn more about a topic really shows the current climate and overall mentality toward consuming content. People would much rather have you (the expert) tell them about a subject in an interesting way instead of reading a couple paragraphs of text.
