17 Milliseconds? Really?
Hey! Glad you stopped by.
So, it seems crazy, but according to a recent Google study, it takes only 17 milliseconds to form a first impression about a website. With a fraction of a second to make an impact, brand consistency is key. So whether that point of introduction is Facebook, LinkedIn, your website, Instagram, an exhibit opportunity, whatever—clearly, compelling visuals are vital to an organization’s brand.
Once you’ve defined your brand —who you are, what your stand for, what sets you apart, who your audience is — your brand “voice” needs to ring true across channels.
How does your brand check out? Is your typography, brand colors, photo/image vibe, and “voice” reflective of who you are and consistent with your core values? Is it authentic to your company and does it represent your culture?
Sometimes, brands need major overhauls. . . BUT, sometimes just a few minor tweaks here or there can make a big difference.
Take this quick brand check to see if you’re on track.
